Caitlin Germond

Caitlin Germond is the Coordinator of Justice Services at the Canadian Mental Health Association – Sudbury/Manitoulin. In this position, she provides oversight and supports the justice team in all aspects of the justice portfolio including adult and youth mental health diversion, court support and release from custody programming. She has developed a strong understanding of the impact that mental health and addictions concerns can have on an individual’s involvement in the criminal justice system.

Caitlin has a Master of Public Health degree and is the co-chair of both the Sudbury/Manitoulin Local and Northeast Regional Human Services and Justice Coordinating Committees (HSJCC). She is passionate about using her educational and professional experience to foster strong relationships amongst social service and court personnel, working together to improve the access, quality and availability of supports to those who need it most.
